1. Summary
- Gender vs Sex
Sociologists distinguish between sex and gender. In general, gender is the identity of a socially constructed man and woman. It is a socially and cultivated sex, femininity, and masculinity. Most societies have the belief that they have gender qualities that match certain sexes and socialize members of society in that direction. Feminism criticized this fact, emphasizing that biological sex is irrelevant to social and adult gender, and that men and femininity are not determined by biological differences, but are imposed on women by men with power in male-centered societies.
- Cis vs Trans
Cis gender means "the same sex" that is assigned to me by the society and the gender identity that I identify with myself. Or 'matches'. It means a person who feels it. It refers to people who are born with a male or female body but who are perceived as a person of opposite sex. In other words, the physical and spiritual feelings do not match. It is a concept distinct from homosexuals.
These are types of sex. There are a few kind of sex and gender more than we thought. It is sexism that does not respect various sexes. Sexism is discrimination against people based on their perceived sex or gender.

2. Feminism in South Korea
Although there is a lot of gender equality around the world, there are many sexual crimes in South Korea. Through the murder of Gangnam Station on May 17, 2016, the conflict between men and women became prominent. Many media insisted on murder, but this was a genuine female target murder. Because of the mental illness, he said that he committed a crime, but when a man with a solid body passed by, he did not act and committed a crime against a woman who seemed weaker than himself. A sense of discretion to identify a crime target means that its cause is not a mental disease. Since these events, women have strongly expressed their opinions. Under the systematic discrimination of patriarchal women, women were unable to make their own voices and started it. This phenomenon is an example of radical feminism. Recently, feminism in Korea has been developed as a mixture of radical feminism and cyber feminism. Some people think this is too much, but this is done in a mirroring way that shows what men have done to women in the past.
3. Discussion
What do you think about the recent feminism in Korea? Is it too much behaviors of women?
