Why do people commit suicide?

Society requires a certain standard of reference to people. Finding a good job or getting good grades is example.
People think that they are left out in their society and consider themselves unfit  When they fall short of the standards that society demands. And they are anxious about that and can not withstand its pressures. As a result, when they can't stand it they commit suicide.
