Is our modern world more peaceful than the past?
Can we think of some examples-or contradictions?
I think The world have been more peaceful than before. Unlike today, unlike the past, most punishments, regardless of the severity of the crime, were to kill people and study how to kill them painfully. But not now.
In the food sector, we can produce much more food than we have in the past, but because of political and economic circumstances, we do not want to solve hunger. In this sense, the cruelty of man does not seem to have changed greatly in the past, so it can not be said that the present is absolutely peaceful than in the past.
