1.Summary
Deviance are often divided into two types of bias activities. First of all, crime is an official bias against breaking legally enacted laws. The second type of abnormal behavior refers to unofficial social norms, non-linked norms, and non-linked norms.
The current study of social scientists takes many forms.
Robert K. Merton suggested the types of deviant behavior in the debate over diffusers. His type is divided into compliance, innovation, ceremony, retreat, and rebellion.
The functional approach to the structure of the deviation claims that abnormal behavior plays an important role in society for several reasons. First, the deviation helps to distinguish between acceptable behavior and behavior. In addition, it can promote social cohesion.
Conflict theory explains how deviations reflect the power imbalances. White collar crime is particularly suitable for describing this.
Labeling theory refers to the notion that a label will become obsolete when applying the label and adoption of labels. Labeling theory argues that people tend to deviate from their identity as people impose their identity and adopt their identity. In summary, the labeling theory asserts that applying labels to individuals is an important factor that leads to abnormal behavior.
