Patriarchy: The man's vain authority desire

Preface
Chuseok is one of the most magnificent holiday in Korea. What is Chuseok for you? Most of them will meet relatives, perform ancestral rites and enjoy various foods. This is the type Chuseok which we commonly known. But if you look at the process of Korean holiday including Chuseok, you can feel something different. The process of preparing a lot of food and the war of nerves of the family members are examples. What I have focused on 'Patriarchal', which may be the root of these problems. Let's take a closer look at virtual scenario scenarios.
Today is a holiday. But my mood is not so good. Because today is Chuseok. Chuseok is certainly one of the most magnificent events in our family. When it comes to Chuseok, my father becomes very sensitive. In addition, more than 10 relatives come to the house which is not wide from the beginning. Mom and sister work constantly, and people accept it as if it is natural. I hate these customs. So I wondered why Chuseok was the biggest event in my family from the very beginning. I thought about it, and this is also what my father has forcibly set. Whenever I see a father who mistakes himself as a center of the house, I have a sigh. What is the power that father holds? I heard this from professor Piotr's lecture and found out that it was a patriarchal affair.

Why did patriarchy occur?
Then now that you have seen the example, it is time to think. Let's look at the origins of patriarchy. The patriarchal system was usually formed from the time of hunter-gatherer society. The fact that the birth and nurturing of children were forced to be carried out by relatively women led to gender role differentiation. Based on this, man came to control women. Also patriarchy comes from the classical family system which emphasizes family and bloodline. This patriarchal system hasn't been revamped and maintained until now, maintaining various forms according to the times and regions.

Discussion Point
I limited the example to Korea only. In Korea, there is a slight institutional change in order to dismantle the patriarchal system, such as replacing the family system with family register. Patriarchy is a kind of cultural retardation that does not fit the changed modern society, so we must strive to overcome it. But patriarchy is happening in various societies. What country can you exemplify, and what are examples of efforts to solve patriarchy?
