1.Summary

Demographic studies are the study of demography.  Sociologists should present demographic indicators before proposing theories. It is a powerful tool that can explain many sociological phenomenon.
Demographic calculations began in the 18th century. Most surveys began in the late 18th century.
Demographics largely rely on large-scale data. The most important indicator of population statistics is birth and death.
Substitution level births are the number of children a woman must have to bear to replace existing population. The alternative birth rate is generally based on 2.1 children. The birth rate has fallen the fastest in the developed world. Recently, it has also begun to decline in Africa. Generally speaking, the higher the level of education in women, the lower the birthrate. The birth rate is closely related to the national development level.
According to a recent study, the most important factor related to people's lives is also educational. This is because not only school itself, but also good education makes do unhealthy behaviors less.
Currently, the world population is increasing by about 80 million annually. Most of them occur in African countries.
Some scholars claim that the population will fluctuate according to the amount of people they can eat. The population increase when food is plentiful and falls when food is scarcity.  Historically, it supports this theory by increasing the population explosion since the agricultural revolution. However, the population is declining in developed countries despite of a plenty of food supplies.
More and more people leave the countryside and move to the cities. Some exclaim that severe inequalities exist as a result of rapid urbanization. Urbanization can also cause environmental problems in the city.



2.Interesting

Korean birth rate is very low. But it will definitely be lower than ever. At one time, the birth rate of France recorded the lowest in the world. But now it is the highest level in Europe. This is because the government provided enough conditions to raise the child. Most Korean women get higher education. Clever women will no longer have children in these countries. South Korea is also included in the ranks of advanced countries economically. Low birth rates in developed countries are an open trend. But other countries are trying to raise birthrates and succeed. Why does Korea fail every time? South Korea is going the other way.


3.Discussion

Will the world suffer from food shortages if the population continues to grow like current? Food development is currently underway using recycled proteins and insects. In addition, the Earth is a malformed structure that one side has a plenty of food and one side is starving, they doesn't have a slice of bread. Why can't people solve this structure? Will this structure be resolved if substitute food is developed?
