Summary
Demography includes research on the size, distribution, and population of
the population, and how the population changes over time, from birth to death.
The most important indicators are birth rate and mortality rate. Demography
accounts for many sociological phenomena. This demographic tool was used for
political purposes early in the study.

New/Interesting things I
learned
Worldwide birth rates are declining. I already knew that developed
countries had lower birthrates than developing countries. However, I wondered
what specific reasons Africa(developing country) has the highest fertility
rate, as all countries are decreasing their fertility rates. The reason is that
the child is an economic asset to parents because they work on farms. It was so
shocking. In developed countries, the fertility rate is lowered in order to
increase the cost of investing in one child. On the other side of the globe, it
is a sad reality that the birth rate is steadily rising because children soon
lead to assets. I thought that lower fertility rates in developing countries
would help economically by reducing the cost of children. In developing
countries, however, children were the ones that brought money, not need a money.

Discussion
People living in the country go to the city to find better economic
opportunities. This is because rural areas have difficulties in building
economic wealth due to lack of social infrastructure. So the government
promotes rural urbanization. I want to point out that there is a problem with
this point. First, no matter how much rural urbanization is pursued, the level
is lower than the existing urban area. Existing cities have a base, so they can
pursue their own development, but the country can only be supported with the
help of the state. Second, Is urban urbanization really right? I think that the
harmonization of rural and rural development cities should be appropriate. If
all areas lose nature, the environment will be very bad. So I do not know if
it's urbanization and it's going right, it's essentially right.
