Q. Some Korean men marry women in other countries. How can we explain this phenomenon?

: In the first place, women outnumber in gender ratio in Korea. Therefore, there is a situation where men cannot marry compared to women. And there are still ideas and pressures that men should be the head of the family and lead the family. That is why they are trying to marry women in other countries if they wouldn’t get married.
