1. Summary

Aging is a biological and sociological process that humans experience throughout life. The reason why aging is sociological is each culture has different ways of interpreting age. A society where lifespan is relatively short can think that the scope of aging is narrow than the society where lifespan is relatively long. The Western society thinks highly of young people, on the other hand, The Eastern Society think older people are wise. Thus, the interpretation of aging is socially diverse. Humans experiencing social maturity through aging.


2. What I was interested

I found it interesting to analyze why women live longer than men. Because although I often hear that women live longer than men, I have never learned about the reason.

3. Discussion point

In our society, ageism is serious today. However, unlike that, our society is becoming increasingly rapidly aging society. How do we deal with this situation that we hate the elderly but the increasing of elderly people?
