1. Summary

Introduction) The concept of demography is presented in this part.

Why study demography?) The use of demography is presented in this part.

History) In this part, Changes in demographic usage, the demographic history, is presented.

Data and Methods) This part provides a method for using demographics. Fertility and mortality are some of the most important indicators of demographics.

The Demographic Transition) The demographic transformation is a model and theory that represents the population change up to modern times. As shown in the graph, the birth rate and mortality rate are downward curves, and the total population is in the form of rising curves.

Population Growth and Overpopulation) This part explains the phenomenon that the population grows so much over the world. The effect of the phenomenon and the results of the phenomenon are also presented.

Migration) This part explains the migration phenomenon. Social and personal effects through immigration are also presented.

Urbanization) In this part, the concepts and causes of urbanization and various effects of urbanization are presented. Various effects exist in various areas such as environment and economy, and the effects shown in this section are almost positive effects.

2. Interesting point

The graph presented in the The Demographic Transition part was interesting to me. I thought that the demographic transition graph consisted of four levels, but the presented graph consisted of five  levels. I think the 5th step is composed of dotted lines, which is a graph that predicts the future at the present time, but the demographic transition graph is presented differently than I knew it, so that part seemed interesting to me.

After I read population growth and overpopulation part, I was a bit worried when I saw that the rise of women's status brought about a decline in the fertility rate. It means the human rights enhancement of women is used as a 'tool' of population restraint that to suppress population growth through the promotion of women's human rights.
I think it is very worrisome that the human rights promotion of women is not simply an improvement of the fundamental rights of women as 'human rights', but as tools for achieving what I have mentioned above.
