Why does the average age of marriage
differ by gender in Korea?
There is a military conscription system in Korea.
It is a system in which men are recruited and forced to serve in the military for two years.
In this part, there will be a difference in the working age of men and women.
In Korea, however, there is a strong belief that marriage can be maintained in a stable manner only after having sufficient economic power to become independent.
These belief appear as marriages after all of them have worked for a few years.
And the age at this time is expressed in the late 20's (for women) and early 30's (for men), which were presented at the prezi.
