1. Summary
The social stratification is that the members of the social group are divided into several layers.
Max Weber says that social classes are divided by power, property, and prestige.
There are two classic approaches to stratification, structural-functionalism and conflict theories.
and there are three levels of analysis on stratification :Micro-Meso-Macro.
The consequences of inequality vary across the globe.
Social scientists offer a few theories which help to explain the causes and consequences of global inequality: Development and Modernization, Dependency, World Systems Theory, The New International Division of Labor theory.

2. New learning / What was interesting
The world system theory was very interesting.
According to this theory, The world economy is a system divided into a hierarchy of three types of countries: core, semiperipheral, and peripheral. Semiperipheral countries exploit peripheral countries, just as core countries exploit both semiperipheral and peripheral countries.
I think it's like a power harassment on a global scale.

3. Discussion
What can be done to lessen the negative effects of inequality on people’s lives?
The government should endeavor to thoroughly implement policies such as welfare, strengthening public education, raising tax rates on unearned income, measures to support the minimum cost of living, and gender equality.
I agree with this opinion. To reduce the negative effects of inequality, governments will need a lot of governmental effort. Also, the target must be a class of inequality that is negatively affected by inequality.
