1. Summary

 This web page explains about gender, sex and relevant theories. The main concept, gender is social role expected by certain sex. Sex is often characterized by the biological characteristics represented by X and Y chromosome. ‘Cis’ is antonym of ‘Trans’. Trans gender/sex is a person who don’t fallow their gender designed by society, and it is expressed by trans-sexual surgery or drag and more.

2. New or Interesting thing

 Although it is not well-known and is not included in the compulsory curriculum of country, one of the important fact is that it is wrong only two genders-male and female-exist. In gender concept, there is an opinion that gender is spectrum rather than some fixed value. In addition, sex concept also determined only male and female, intersex exists there. Most of intersex undergo sexual organs surgery on infants without having a chance to think and judge themselves. 3. Discussion point

 Are biological differences between genders real? In text, there are marked biological differences between male and female. However, Jewish discrimination and racism used biology as methods of classifying a specific group as inferior. Considering this context, on this issue, does the biological difference preclude social stereotypes?
