Q. Why fewer women enroll in college university in Korea than men?

In the past, Korean society had a perception that men were forced to have a well-educated and well-paid career and forced a woman to marry with rich men and just do housework. Therefore, I think that men's college entrance rate was higher than females. But, recent perceptions have changed, so women get the chances of social advancement in society. So I guess women entering college are getting higher. And soon, women and men’s college entrance rate will be going to be the same.
