1. Summary
Gender and sex are distinguished. Gender is sociological and sex is biogeological. Cisgender is a person who adheres to the existing concepts of gender and culture in accordance with the social and cultural context of the given gender. GENDER
Gender is a social analysis of human behavior. Gender is generally divided into men and women. Or it could indicate that both things exist. Society presents people with actions and norms to follow according to gender. As a result, people play their actions like play according to other people's sexual beliefs and reactions.
Also, society has a traditional stereotype about gender. For example, men should be independent and energetic, and women should be subservient to men and should be emotional. Therefore, if men or women have the opposite characteristics of a traditional sex trait, they are considered abnormal. However, gender is fluid and can change.
2. What I learned/What I was interested
I heard the word cisgender on the Internet nowadays, but I didn't know much about it. After reading the article, however, I learned that Cisgender was a concept opposed to transgender. And I hoped that the traditional gender stereotype would disappear.
3. Discussion point
It is still common for our society to judge and condemn people based on gender stereotypes. Do you think we should eliminate these gender stereotypes? How should we eliminate these stereotypes if we need to get rid of them? (I expect everyone to think that we should get rid of this.)
I think gender stereotypes should be removed. Because gender stereotypes can limit the choice of men and women's jobs and their potential. To eliminate this, parents should not teach gender stereotypes to their children. And people should not use words that reflect gender stereotypes.
ReplyDeleteI think gender stereotypes should be removed. Because fixation of gender roles hinders the individuality. However, society teaches gender roles since childhood. Examples are the extent to which mothers and fathers share housework, or exposure to gender stereotypes through media. To prevent children from learning gender stereotypes, gender roles should be eliminated in the home, and society should stop the media's thoughtless broadcast.
ReplyDeleteI think we should remove the gender stereotype. There should be no cases where you do not give an opportunity because of sex. All should be given an equal opportunity. Education of the child is important to eliminate gender stereotypes. You should not make stereotypes by showing your parents share the lyrics together from a young age. And you should not say discriminatory words. You have to make your child choose a variety of colors and jobs.
