1. Summary
Politics mean the step which people have to make social economic decisions. In politics, there are three terms; Power, Authority and Violence. Political power is a power given to a group allowing to use social goods including labor, money, etc. Who want to have politics power have to get Authority first. Authority is a right which can use politics power lawful. Violence is used by a group, having power, motivate people doing things they want.
There are many types of government. There are monarchy, democracy, totalitarianism, oligarchy, communist state and theocrary. Most countries have variety political parties. USA has two political parties; Democratic and Republican.
In Sweden, there are numerous parties for interrupt political monopoly.
Vote is most important thing in politics. The older age, the higher voter turnout. Also, black people have the highest vote rate in all races.
2. Interesting Things
I thought vote rate is higher in young people. But, in the page, vote rate was higher in old people. And I can learn types of governments and their differences.
3. Discussion Point
In Korea, many teenagers want to have vote right. The progressive party is agree with that opinions. But, the conservative party don't want to lower voting age limit. Do you think voting age limit have to be lower?

i think if voting age is lower, premature judgments would be increased. so i don't want to lower voting age limit

ReplyDeleteHowever, it is good for youth to participate in politician elections that are directly related to youth.(For example, the Minister of Education )
I think It’d be better if voting age will be lower than now. People who against that usually said that they’re too young to judge which is right or wrong, but I think they’re old enough to have their own judgement. And we shoud remind that nowadays teenagers are not like the old days. They can access to lots of information, and they know what they’re doing. It’s not hard to find teenagers who are interested in politics. So I think they can have a right to vote.
