Introduction to Sociology/gordon_brown/Heechan Kim

Q. Are our values becoming homogenized? is this problem?

A. I think the value is homogenized. And that is not a problem. It is rather natural. As gordon_brown said, humans have global morality and duty. This is evidence that everyone on the planet is in an equal position. A man who is starving to death in Sudan or a man who lives luxuriously in Las Vegas in the United States is the same human being and value is not different. Long ago, unequal social systems such as slavery and standardization made people's values uneven and inhomogeneous. Over time, these erroneous systems have disappeared, but I still think there are still some things left in people's minds. And this hinders the homogenization of the carriage. However, as the world is becoming globalized and a system of finding commonalities through the Internet has developed, the thinking of people who have come down from the past has begun to break, and values have become homogenized. I think this is a very good phenomenon and I think it is the beginning of human equality.
