The Conflicting ideas
Basic definition
Deviance
Deviation from dictionary definitions means that deviations from defined areas or original purpose, path, norms, organizations, and organizations are excluded.
Social studies, in turn, say that deviations from the underlying meaning of society are defined as deviations from society or norms prescribed by society.
Devisions in this definition entail defamation, branding, condemnation, and social norms, thereby causing social control over social norms and regulations.
Social control
A broad term refers to a wide range of social discussions on order to maintain order and stability.
It is used to refer to various professional institutions, such as legal, prison, and police, but when discussing social institutions and social institutions, it is used to categorize social institutions, such as legal institutions, religious institutions, and political institutions, if they are to be engaged in social security.
Social control is also performed through every activity in the broader meaning of everyday life, attitudes and gestures. It also manifests itself in social interaction and ap

"to set fairly the standard to define deviations" was the top priority.
The above story is George Orwell's 1984 novel. In this blog, I will talk about the relationship between deviance and social control and my thoughts on this.
Generally, in our society, social control is being done to solve problems of security, morality, or poverty and lack. It is easy to say that our society defines the act of "theft" as "deviant behavior" and steers the way of "social control" to prevent it. In modern society, two aspects of deviance and social control are appropriate tug-of-war
In 1984, however, the private domain, like human personality and individual emotion, is judged as an element that can lead to 'deviant behavior' and controls it.
The act of writing a diary in a novel corresponds to an ideological sin. Big Brother also monitors what he thinks and how he looks at it through telegrams. The love he did became contrary to the social norms implicitly used in the novel 1984. I think this novel shows a world where social control has come to the extremes.
We sociologically define deviance as a non-idealistic act that can not adapt to society, and we view it as a phenomenon to focus attention on.
In a society that lives together, various reasons such as safety and peace are the reasons for making it possible to regulate our lives, but I think that the excessive regulation and social control, as the following novels, .
This fictional fiction is an example of social control that defines extreme deviations.
In the 1984 tug-of-war novels, the private domain of the individual was in fact a whack.
In the 1984 tug-of-war novels, the private domain of the individual was in fact a whack.
It is social control that exists for deviating, but I think it is also important to regulate something and to control something. Because it is a conflicting position, it was thought that "to set fairly the standard to define deviations" was the top priority.
