In short, democracy is a form that the nation people have sovereignty. The principle of democracy is that every citizen have to the same right and every citizen have to enjoy universal freedom. Although the interpretations of democracy can be divided into different types, there is no change in the fundamental principles.

Democracy is a form of government in Korea now. So when I read this article, I was familiar with democracy. And I recalled that last year, the nation's citizens realized democracy through candlelight vigils. When I read this article, I wanted to know further about the kinds of democracy.

\Freedom of speech should be guaranteed in a democracy. However, freedom of speech sometimes clashes with defamation of character. Because the two are contradict values. Then should the freedom of speech be prioritized or should the protection of defamation be prioritized? Or is there a way to harmonize those two?
