1.benefits of speaking english are clear. but can we think of any drawbacks?
Everyone will learn English education as a mainstream language. And the importance of other languages is treated poorly.

2.would the world be a better or worse place if we all spoke a single language?
If everyone is integrated into the English language from scratch, it will be good for the language barrier to disappear and the majority of people can communicate smoothly.

3.can we think of some examples of sub cultures present in korea?
Like other countries, there are people trapped in Japanese culture, addicted to animation, and addicted to games of unique taste

4.how are members of a subculture seen by members of the dominant culture?
People in the dominant Major culture will think that they are good if other sub-cultures looks like familiar with major.
if not, they will think those cultures strange.

5.can we think of examples of cultures that were not tolerated in korea in the past but became accepted in recent years?
I believe that the homosexual relationship culture can be an example. Although some groups still opposed to it, i feel much better than before.

I think the commercialization of sports is a popular example. Simply enjoying the sport is now broadcast on TV, linked to big sponsors and big ad companies.

7.what functions religion may have?
By creating a belief in hard society, religion can make people feel secure and make friendship in religion

8.can you think of other examples in how religion can be used to control people?
Although it is a risky remark, it seems common for religions to create illusion of God and bring about wealth and manpower slowly in the name of devotion and caring.

9.why is god in christianity often portrayed as a male?
i guess, In the past, it appears that the image of the male sex appeared in the portraits because of the dominance of male sex.
