What can we do in our society with a degree in sociology? Most of sociology majors chose their majors because their majors (Sociology) seems interesting, and the others it appears realatively easy.
In other words, sociology is a academic discipline that anyone can challenge and enjoy to study.
Sociology majors generally satisfied their education courses and teaching for graduate. Sociology majors can use their ability in the company. For instance, they are good at figure out nowdays trends in society or show an outstanding interpersonal communication skills.. Especially corporations want to grasp consumers habits and patterns, and here, sociology can help it. Sociology is well-suited to predict human's behavior using empirical sociology research. In addition, sociology is helpful at NGO. NGO concerned society's issues, so sociologists ars suitable. Instead of getting a job like this, there is another way to keep studying. In 2001, rate 42% sociologists had acceptance into the medical school. Sociologists have many chances to study other disciplines.
2.What is interesting
As a student who has a dream of journalist, I chose sociology to study our society and human. But many people don't know my major and sometimes they served my major useless cause sociology is not praticle. However it is lovely many people choose sociology to study, and society think highly of my major from wikipedia's writings. Sociology is definitely not a discipline for getting a getting a job to me. If i think so, i would choose another way to study something practicle like law, administration. Sociology is a foundation studies to study how to live, how to behave, and it is very helpful me to write. Also, we know, sociology has a good connection with other disciplines. It brings me the bigger enlightenment when i study other disciplines. I will keep my proud of being sociologist.
3.Discussion
Which disciplines are great to study with sociology? Many humanities and literature have experienced to associate with sociology, but i barely heard connections with physics or science. Someday i heard Mathmatics and sociology are inextricable conneciton, but i don't know exactly why. Is it the reason that statistic is very important to sociology? And there are many kinds of science, which kinds of science are suitable to study with sociology?
