1. summary
In this writing, we can know the prospect of sociologist. First of all, this writing tells us the abilities that sociology majors can arrive. Those are to identify ethical issues in research, to develope arguments which is based on evidence, to evaluate other research methods and so on. Sociology majors can apply these abilites outside academic world. This means that socioloy majors have a lot of posibilites to advance into many parts of the world. They can cooperate with people in various fields.

2. What was interesting

It was so interesting that this writing see sociology so positively. Even though I chose my major as sociology as my will, there were a lot of worries about having a job after graduation.  In fact, many people in our major try having another major to achieve a job. I've been knowing sociology have a lot of posibilites because it is foundation of many fields. Otherwise, in same reason, it can be difficult to having a job because  of its correlation with a lot of area. However, through this writing, I found out that sociology is not an unclear subject, and learned its practicality once again.

3. Discussion

This writing shows a lot of posibilities about sociology including having a job. But I'm curious that it is also true in Korea. In Korea, it seeks practical skills rather than understanding of study. I agree with the abilities of many social majors in the above post. However, it is doubtful whether these abilities are recognized as valuable skills in Korean society. (Of course I really hope the abilites in above post can be recognized its value.)
