1. summary

Sociology is an indispensable element in society. Because we can understand society through Sociology.

Also, Ph.D. with Continuing studying is not just one study that applies only to society.

It is a basic theory that applies to everyone.

Example, a sociology major could help a company like cvs realize the problem with tagging hair care items for African Americans with anti-theft measures while not doing the same for hair care items for whites.

Practices like these may seem pragmatic to the managers of these stores, but they also alienate consumers.

 

2.WHAT WAS INTERESTING

I saw a very interesting document through a concrete table in wike book.

When I look at the sex ratio of the usual professor (in my university information society), I thought there were more male sociologists, but no.

Also to deeply agree with the article is 'the training you receive as a sociology major is actually quite applicable outside academia as well'.  

In other words, Sociologist trained by sociology has (deep) insight  and then they can see around the society.

Looking at this article, I regretted myself  (that) was pushing for Business study recently.

 

3. DISCUSSION POINT

I major in the Department of Information Society and Business at the university.

In other words, NULL major student.

As I think like this article, Ultimately, we are making efforts to become an office worker based on sociology through sociological insight.
