1.Summary
This article explains the concept, history, and kind of economy. Economics means the way people use the environment for material fulfillment. In the early economic activity, only micro-economies such as inter-individual barter exchange existed. However, as the concept of the state emerged and the interchanges between the countries flourished, macroeconomics began to emerge. Since then, the economy has been introduced into the state as a system. This system is divided into capitalism and socialism.
Capitalism means a system operated by the capital traded in the market. People provide the labor force in the market and receive the wages accordingly. That is why people have the opportunity to change their economic position depending on their own efforts in this system. Capitalism began in ancient Rome and flourished in the Industrial Revolution. Max Weber tried to find the possibility of capitalism from religion and called it "selective affinity." Capitalism is also criticized by the risk of unfair distribution of wealth due to market monopoly by power.
Socialism is a system that supports public production and distribution of resources. The goal of socialism is to create public benefits through joint production and joint distribution. This socialism was an ideal aspect of the economy that Marx claimed. In reality, however, socialism failed because of the selfishness of those who pursue personal interests rather than the public interest. At present, North Korea is a representative country that maintains the socialist system.
2.What is interesting point?
It is interesting that the concept of economy is explained by various theories. Particularly interesting about socialism. The ideal of socialism is very good, but in reality this ideal is not realized. Socialism is the ultimate goal of eliminating the capitalists represented by the ruling class and creating a world where the exploited workers become the states. The final figure of socialism to arrive through this process is communism. That is why Marx claimed that socialism is the final form of the economy. In reality, however, it was a failure of the former Soviet Union that realization of socialism was impossible. It is very interesting to know that this example is extreme of difference between thought and reality.
3.Discussion point
Capitalism is the current main economic system. But one of the reasons that capitalism is criticized is the inequality of capital, which is creating social problems. One of the ways to solve the problem is the social welfare system. But someone says that the social welfare system weakens people's will and strengthens the rich and poor. I would like to hear your comments on this claim.

I think that the distribution of wealth through the 'social welfare system' should be more. At present, Korea is one of the countries with the greatest gap between the rich and the poor. Considering Korea 's GDP ranking, it is not outrageous. Some people complain that the poor live easily, but when they see society as a whole, it is a way to make society healthier.
