1. Summary
Many sociology majors are satisfied with
their major. While, many other people think that sociology majors are hard to
get job. However, they have wrong thought. After graduation, sociology majors
have variety ability, so they can get jobs in variety fields. If they want,
they can study more for get high-leveled degree. Whatever they have bachelor's
degree or PhD degree, they are working at variety spaces.
2. New/Interesting things I learned
I
came the sociology major to learn deeply about sociology. So, I haven't thought about my future job
yet. Through this document, I could know jobs which can I get when I have a
degree in sociology. Recently, I became interested in marketing. So, I was glad
to find 'Marketing' on job list which sociology majors with bachelor's degree
can get. Also, I could get confidence and pride at my major after reading the
documents. I will work hard for finding the way to my bright future with my
major.
3.Discussion point
During reading the documents, I wondered
whether all the words in the documents could apply to Korean society. In fact,
sociology is not recognized as promising major in Korea. Therefore, I think
that all parts of the documents cannot apply to Korean situation. I want to
discuss about this with other students.
I think that we can combine sociology with other studies. I also think you love sociology very much. Therefore, I think you can have a wonderful job if you combine sociology and marketing. I also agree with you that awareness of sociology is not good in Korea. I want to discuss about this, too.

ReplyDeleteso i think that The best way in which social science is recognized in Korea is that it will be transformed into a shared part of science, which is a practical change.
