This article explains how sociologists study social phenomena.
But I'm not giving you a detailed description of that. When sociologists try to explain or understand social phenomena, they talk about ways beyond common sense.
Sociologists don't look at the world as we see it, and ask questions about why problems arise before a particular problem occurs, and whether there is a way to stop the problem.
And this article describes some of the ways(Privileges, experience, logic, tradition, revelation, science, etc.)in which sociologists talk authoritatively about social life and the definition of epistemology.
(Epistemology is methods of claiming to know certain things.)
The Characteristics of Scientific Methods for the Research of Social Studies is First of all, the scientific method depends on the careful nature of the subject. Second, while searching for the appropriate attributes of the topic, this prudent thinking may involve some definition and observation. But observation is that careful classification and measurement are needed.
Four essential elements of scientific methods include characterization, hypothesis, prediction, and testing. And sociological survey methods can be divided into qualitative and qualitative ways. It can also be divided by objective, critical, and subjective methods.
Also, what is needed to study social phenomena is ethics and objectivity.
And there was information about how social science helped us, I think this is the most important part of this article.

After reading this article, I discovered that there was a scientific method of studying sociology.
And I first learned the kinds of social studies methods.

But when social scientists try to explain or understand social phenomena, They said they explain how to get beyond common sense. I didn't understand what it was in terms of ' common sense ' in this part.
